3 Things To Look Out For In Upcoming Dance Battle Program

With only a few days left until its premiere, the production staff of “Dancing High” has picked three keywords to define the show.

As a dance battle program for teenagers, “Dancing High” will showcase talented young dancers’ perfect performances and passionate stories. Just Jerk (Young-J and J-Ho), Lee Gikwang, Lee Ho Won (Hoya), Lee Seung Hoon, and Lia Kim have joined forces to become the show’s dance coaches.

Over 3000 teens auditioned to join the show, with 43 teams (including individuals) making the final cut.

Here are the three keywords that will introduce the program!

1. The youngest contestants

There are even 13-year-old contestants on “Dancing High,” namely Lee Yoo Sol and Park Shi Hyun. Park Shi Hyun has already gained attention through a previously released video for his powerful dance that does not match his age and expression full of swagger. He surprised Lee Gikwang, Hoya, and Lee Seung Hoon with his energy that ate up the stage. There are even more teenage contestants who will exceed expectations.

2. National treasure contestants

A group of talented dancers make up the stellar lineup for the program. Besides Kim Ye Ri, who plans to participate in the breakdancing event for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, countless other contestants in and outside of Korea who’ve succeeded in competitions will decorate the stage.

3. All contestants who love dancing

“Dancing High” was able to come to fruition because of teenage dancers who love dancing. Coming from all over the country, these dancers of different ages and genres will show off their colorful charms. Their passion and energy towards dancing is as great as their potential. The program will be even more meaningful with its fairly contested battles.

“Dancing High” airs its first episode on September 7 at 11 p.m. KST, and will be available on Viki.
