Exclusive: BTS And ARMY Generate Over 2.4 Million Tweets About Their World Tour So Far

BTS and their fans ARMY have been taking over Twitter once again due to the excitement surrounding their world tour!

BTS made a comeback on August 24 with their repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer” and its title track “IDOL,” and then opened their “Love Yourself” world tour with two shows in Seoul on August 25 and 26. After promoting their new album on music shows, they headed to Los Angeles to begin the international stops on their tour with four nights at the Staples Center.

Twitter exclusively revealed to Soompi on September 7 that the conversation about BTS’s world tour has reached over 2.4 million tweets so far! During the first two days of their Los Angeles concerts, ARMY generated more than 1.7 million tweets around the world.

To celebrate BTS’s “Love Yourself” tour, Twitter launched a special emoji that’s inspired by the group’s logo. The emoji comes up when users tweet with the hashtags #BTS, #BTSLoveYourselfTour, #BTSLYtour and #BTSWorldTour.

BTS and ARMY have been experiencing the “Love Yourself” world tour journey together on Twitter, with tweets including messages from the members, fans’ reactions to BTS’s arrival at the Los Angeles airport, stories and footage from their amazing concerts, and more!

Jimin’s tweet to fans in which he announced that they were heading off on their tour has gained over 300,000 retweets.

After BTS landed in Los Angeles earlier this week and left the airport via a private exit, ARMY trended the hashtag “#BTS1stAirportWin” worldwide with lots of memes, jokes, and funny videos as they celebrated the group avoiding the crowds.

On the day of the first show, Suga tweeted a video of a news broadcast about their fans waiting for them outside the stadium. Reporter Marc Cota-Robles tweeted to say he was happy they were watching!

Official news about the concert’s merchandise and how to use BTS’s light stick was also a popular tweet from September 5.

Another top tweet was from the Staples Center, announcing that doors were open for the first concert!

Once the shows got started, fans also took to Twitter to share unforgettable moments.
