NCT Dream Talks About The Song They Dedicated To Mark And Their Latest Comeback
NCT Dream recently shot a pictorial with fashion magazine Singles.
In the accompanying interview, the boy group talked about their latest album “We Go Up.” Jeno said, “This was an album that everyone was satisfied with, from the title track, the choreography, and the concept. We were able to show a cooler and more mature side of NCT Dream than before.”
Haechan said, “I think that people can experience a lot of different things in this album. There are songs with a strong beat and songs that have a sadder vibe.”
The group also talked about the song, “Dear DREAM,” that they dedicated to Mark, who was confirmed to graduate from NCT Dream this year. Jeno said, “We wrote the song while thinking about the past six years we shared together, including our trainee years. I thought about what Mark meant to NCT Dream and to me personally.”
Chenle and Renjun said, “This is a song that all our members treasure a lot. When we listened to it after our first recording, we all teared up a little.”
Mark said, “Like our title track says, I want people to have an impression of NCT Dream as a group that keeps maturing and doesn’t stay in the same place forever. An ending is always a new beginning, and I hope NCT Dream can start a new chapter going forward.”
Jisung said, “I hope that there are more opportunities to see fans directly during this comeback, like the ‘NCT Dream Show’ in September.”
