TWICE To Sing Theme Song Of Upcoming Japanese Drama

TWICE is singing for the soundtrack of another Japanese work!

TWICE’s upcoming track “Stay By My Side,” which will be released towards the end of October, has been selected as the theme song for the Japanese drama “Shinya no Damekoi Zukan.” The drama will air on October 6 through TV Asahi. The fast tempo track will portray the slightly sad feelings that any girl who’s fallen in love will have through its lyrics.

The drama is a remake of a manga of the same name, which gained popularity among women in their 20s and 30s for its relatable content.

TWICE confirmed these reports and also expressed, “Please listen to our song that will appear in the drama!”

TWICE has recently been active in Japan with the release of their first Japanese album “BDZ.” The album achieved a No. 1 ranking on Oricon’s weekly album chart a few days ago and has also maintained its reign over the daily album chart, remaining at the top of the chart for multiple days.

The group is also currently preparing for their sold-out first Japanese arena tour, which will kick off in Chiba on September 29 before taking them to a total of four different cities across the country.
