f(x)'s Krystal Talks About What She's Like During And After A Relationship

f(x)’s Krystal appeared on “Life Bar” and discussed relationships, breakups, and her perceived personality.

On September 27, the cast of OCN’s heist drama “Player” — Song Seung Heon, f(x)’s Krystal, Lee Si Eon, and Tae Won Suk — appeared as guests on tvN’s “Life Bar.”

During the segment “Relationship Masterpiece,” the guests had an opportunity to share their perspectives on life and love.

When the MCs asked Krystal what she wrote, she shared, “I will always support you, but don’t keep in touch.” In response, Shin Dong Yup said, “Is this something you said to an ex? Did you get hurt in the past?” Krystal further elaborated, “It’s not that. It’s just when I am no longer in a relationship with someone, I want to make sure it has definitely ended.”

Han Hye Jin followed up and asked, “You never thought about seeing or trying to date anyone again?” Krystal shared, “I always try to give it my all in all my relationships, including my romantic ones. So if we do break up, to me, we’ve definitely broken up. I don’t hold onto the idea that I could date this person again.”

When asked, “You never had a break period with someone, and ended up getting back together?” Krystal answered, “I think I may be like this because I never had that happen to me. I never experienced a rekindling, but who’s to say that won’t happen in the future?” She concluded, “If the other person and I mutually decided to end it, I try not to have any regrets. I really don’t dwell on it.”

Krystal’s straightforward approach to relationships tied into when the MCs brought up how she is known to have a cold image, but her real personality is the complete opposite.

The idol explained she naturally worries a lot, and that this misconception used to really affect her. Super Junior’s Heechul commented, “She appears unfriendly, but she is the opposite. She’s just really shy.” Song Seung Heon agreed and said, “She has that cold appearance but she’s like any girl at her age.”

At one point, it was revealed that Krystal and Song Seung Heon both said yes to the question, “Have you ever felt something while filming a romantic scene?” Host Kim Joon Hyun teased saying, “You both said yes to the question… Were you talking about each other?”

Krystal clarified, “If that does happen, I’m not attracted to the actor, but the character.” Song Seung Heon made everyone chuckle by adding, “We don’t even have a romantic relationship in our drama.”

“Player” will premiere on September 29 and will be available on Viki.
