September Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from August 27 to September 28.

This month, BTS topped the list with a brand reputation index of 26,342,509, which is a 9.06 percent decrease from their May index of 28,967,969. The Korean Business Research Institute shared that the words “surprising,” “set records,” and “cool” ranked high in BTS’s link analysis, while keyword analysis showed that the highest-ranking related terms included “Billboard,” “UN,” and “YouTube.” Their positivity-negativity analysis showed 94.3 percent positive reactions.

Wanna One came in second with a brand reputation index of 10,693,980. This is a 44.66 percent decrease from May for the group.

BLACKPINK ranked third with a brand reputation index of 9,957,919. This is a 62.22 percent increase from May for the group.
