MAMAMOO Moves Forward With Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

An update has been revealed on MAMAMOO taking action on malicious commenters.

Previously, MAMAMOO’s agency RBW announced that strong action will be taken.

On October 8, the Gangnam Police Station and MAMAMOO’s legal representatives stated that complaints were filed against four netizens on October 4. The police are planning to summon Moonbyul sometime this month to investigate the complaint.

From September 20, 2016 to this past August, four netizens have been leaving malicious comments, including sexually harassing remarks, through Twitter and other forms of social media.

A source from the police commented, “Since the suspects are netizens whose identities are not revealed, we will identify the suspects through complainant questioning and through search warrants.”
