Watch: Park Chan Wook's First-Ever BBC Drama Promises Danger And Espionage In New Teaser

BBC and AMC revealed the trailer for Park Chan Wook’s first TV drama, “The Little Drummer Girl.”

The trailer features strong colors and visuals, which can be uniquely found in Park Chan Wook’s works, and tells viewers that the drama will be full of danger and desirable tension.

“The Little Drummer Girl” tells the story of Charlie (played by Florence Pugh), a beautiful English actress who romantically befriends an interesting man during her vacation in Greece, and how she becomes a double agent working for Israel. Alexander Skarsgård will play the Israeli intelligence officer Becker, while Michael Shannon will play the spy mastermind Kurtz.

The show is based on the novel by the same name, written by the English espionage novel writer John Le Carré. Park Chan Wook, who is famous for his films such as “The Handmaiden,” “Oldboy,” “Thirst,” and “Stoker,” will debut as a drama director through this miniseries. The drama is scheduled to premiere on November 19 on BBC and AMC.
