BLACKPINK’s Rosé surprised her fans with a soulful cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You”!
Just after 4:30 a.m. KST on October 13, Rosé shared two videos of herself playing the keyboard and singing the classic ballad on Instagram. The bare-bones cover, which is markedly different from BLACKPINK’s usual style, highlights Rosé’s unique vocal color and gives her a chance to show off a more emotional style of singing.
She added in the caption, “Serenades cause I can’t sleep.”
Earlier this week, BLACKPINK attended the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards Japan, where they won the Best Dance Video award and performed their latest hit “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” The group also recently set a new record for the fastest K-pop group music video to reach 400 million views on YouTube.
