October Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed
On October 14, the Korean Business Research Institute announced this month’s ranking for brand reputation among male idol groups.
The results are based on the analysis of participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes for 72,090,781 pieces of big data on boy groups from September 12 to October 13.
No. 1 and No. 2 remained the same for the fifth consecutive month.
BTS took first with a participation score of 2,115,704, media coverage score of 2,909,056, interaction score of 4,400,023, and community score of 2,883,631 for a total brand reputation score of 12,308,414.
“Performance,” “London,” “UN,” are words that ranked high for BTS’s keyword analysis, while “Happy,” “Love,” and “Thankful” ranked high for their link analysis. The positivity-negativity analysis showed 79.10 percent positive reactions towards BTS’s brand.
Wanna One took second on this month’s ranking with a participation score of 732,424, media coverage score of 2,296,832, interaction score of 2,927,063, and community score of 1,439,020 for a total brand reputation score of 7,395,339.
EXO rose one spot to take third with a total brand reputation score of 4,499,843, which is a 3.18 percent increase from their September score of 4,361,004. Their participation score is 628,320, media coverage score is 1,532,160, interaction score is 1,505,856, and community score is 833,507.
