Lee Joon Gi And IU Help "Ask Us Anything" Record Highest Viewership Ratings Yet

JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” has set a personal record in viewership ratings!

According to Nielsen Korea, the October 20 episode of the show recorded its personal best of 7.3 percent in viewership ratings. It also achieved its target viewership ratings of 4.2 percent and was the No. 1 program out of all major and cable programs amongst viewers ages 20 to 49.

This episode featured IU and Lee Joon Gi as its guests. The two former co-stars of the drama “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” shared stories from filming together and showed off their teamwork once again on “Ask Us Anything.” Lee Joon Gi also showed his loyalty by revealing that he decided to appear on the show at IU’s request.

During the episode, Lee Joon Gi revealed the story behind his casting for “The King and the Clown” as well as a future goal. IU talked about preparing for her concert to celebrate her 10th debut anniversary and that she performed an additional two hours during the encore to thank fans for coming to her concert.

The singer-actress also earned applause after holding a mini concert for the cast while Lee Joon Gi showcased his various skills including doing a handstand, split, and kicks.

Lee Joon Gi and IU will also appear on next week’s episode of “Ask Us Anything.” The show airs on Saturdays at 9 p.m. KST.
