Jung Yu Mi Provides Testimony For Rumor Case Involving PD Na Young Suk

Jung Yu Mi was investigated as a victim of the rumor case involving herself and producer Na Young Suk.

On October 24, the actress’s agency SOOP Management revealed, “Jung Yu Mi visited Gangnam Police station on October 22 to provide testimony as a victim of the previous rumor case.”

The agency added, “Just like the last time, our agency’s legal team gathered the necessary data and filed an official complaint. There will be no negotiation or lenience.”

Previously on October 17, rumors of adultery between Jung Yu Mi and Na Young Suk spread on online communities. On October 18, SOOP management made an official statement saying that they will take legal action against the rumors. The agency stated, “It is very unpleasant to see our artist’s name written in such an outrageous rumor. We finished gathering the necessary data so the original writer, people who posted and spread the rumor, and malicious commenters can be held responsible. We cannot ignore the acts of spreading false information as if it is true, which damaged our artist’s honor and hurt her.”

Jung Yu Mi’s case will be investigated by Seoul District Police Station’s cyber crime investigation team.

Producer Na Young Suk also released an official statement saying that he will also take legal action against the people involved in creating and spreading the rumor.
