"Ask Us Anything" PD Expresses Hopes For IU And Lee Joon Gi To Return To The Show In The Future

“Ask Us Anything” PD Kim Su Ah had nothing but good things to say about IU and Lee Joon Gi, and shared her hopes for them to return on the show in the future.

IU and Lee Joon Gi recently appeared on two episodes of the show, and they helped the show set a personal best record in ratings. Viewers were delighted to see the pair as they don’t often appear on variety shows, and the PD expressed her gratitude to them as she said, “The atmosphere on set was great, and they gave us plenty of content to work with for two whole episodes. Lee Joon Gi really threw himself into his tasks, more than we expected, and that was a great help. We are so grateful to IU for inviting him along.”

Lee Joon Gi’s appearance on the show surprised many as he rarely makes it on variety shows. The PD explained, “At first, we thought IU would be coming on the show alone. But she asked us for some time, and she returned with a friend. We loved it. Lee Joon Gi was a guest we’d been hoping to invite on the show, but it was difficult because he’s known as an actor who rarely makes variety show appearances. He agreed to be on the show despite having nothing coming up to promote, and when IU said she’d asked him to join her, we were all so happy.” Kim Su Ah added, “We were so happy already that IU would be on the show, and we were even happier when she said she’d be bringing Lee Joon Gi with her.”

Kim Su Ah concluded by stating, “IU and Lee Joon Gi are guests we hope to invite on the show for a second time. IU really got along with the cast and she told us afterwards that she felt more comfortable and had more fun than she had hoped she would.”
