Ryu Jun Yeol Joins Campaign To End Plastic Pollution With Huge Donation
Ryu Jun Yeol takes one step further into protecting the environment by making a generous donation to Greenpeace’s “End Plastic Pollution” campaign!
On December 19, a representative of Ryu Jun Yeol announced that the actor made a special donation of 10 million won (approximately $8,895) to Greenpeace, a non-governmental environmental organization.
The source stated, “Ryu Jun Yeol has been making regular donations since 2016, which includes a special donation for particular campaigns such as the ‘Save the Arctic’ campaign. By doing so, he hoped to increase the participation from the public as well. This time, the actor made a special donation towards the ‘End Plastic Pollution’ campaign.”
Ryu Jun Yeol stated, “You can start by paying attention to the little things around you. These small changes will add up and make a huge impact in the process, and we will be able to save our planet. I sincerely hope that this campaign will shed light on the ongoing problems of plastic pollution and waste.”
Ryu Jun Yeol was recently confirmed to appear on JTBC’s upcoming traveling show with Lee Je Hoon. The actor also has premieres of new films “Hit-and-Run Squad” and “Battle” (tentative title) ahead of him.
