TWICE Wins Song Of The Year At 2018 Korea Popular Music Awards

TWICE has added another daesang to their growing collection!

December 20, at the 2018 Korea Popular Music Awards, TWICE was awarded Song of the Year for “Heart Shaker,” as well as a Bonsang (main prize), which was awarded to 11 artists.

The group was unable to attend the ceremony due to do a conflicting schedule, but sent in a video accepting the award.

Jungyeon said, “First, it’s such an honor to have been awarded Bonsang as well as Song of the Year at the first Korea Popular Music Awards. Thank you!” Jihyo continued, thanking Park Jin Young for guiding the group, as well as executives at JYP and TWICE staff members for their support and hard work.

Nayeon said, “And thank you to ONCE, for helping us win a Bonsang. Thank you!” Jihyo wrapped up, saying, “TWICE is going to work even harder in the future, so please look forward to it. We’ll be back with lot of beautiful performances and songs so we can be a source of positive energy for you. Send us lot of love!”
