On December 22, KBS held its annual awards show to recognize achievements in the broadcast network’s variety programs and entertainment.

According to Nielsen Korea, the awards show scored ratings of 7.1 percent, 8.2 percent, and 7.7 percent during its three parts respectively, with an average of 7.6 percent in viewership ratings.

The 2018 KBS Entertainment Awards achieved higher viewership ratings than SBS’s “Fates and Furies,” which scored ratings of 5.7 percent during the same timeslot. However, it was unable to beat MBC’s “A Pledge to God” and “The Manager,” both of which surpassed 10 percent in viewership ratings.
