Kwanghee Apologizes After His Manager's Controversy
Kwanghee has personally addressed his manager’s controversy.
The idol and entertainer appeared at MBC every1’s press conference for “Weekly Idol” on January 2 as one of the show’s new MCs. During the press conference, he mentioned his manager’s bullying controversy on “The Manager,” and gave an apology.
Kwanghee shared, “[The controversy] regarding my manager and I occurred a while ago. I would like to apologize to those who were hurt for various reasons. I would also like to apologize to the many people who worried and were concerned because of me.” About “The Manager,” he remarked, “I heard that the agency and the production staff will discuss and settle things. I’m sorry to many people regarding this incident and I feel bad that I caused worry. I’m very sorry.”
Previously, Kwanghee and his manager Yoo Si Jong appeared on MBC’s reality show “The Manager” after Kwanghee’s discharge. After the broadcast, an anonymous individual posted in an online community that they had been bullied by Yoo Si Jong during their school years. Though their agency Bonboo Entertainment first denied the claims, Kwanghee’s manager later apologized and resigned from the agency.
