Bae Jin Young’s Agency Shares Update On His Future Activities + Legal Action Against Malicious Comments
On January 3, C9 Entertainment released an update on their artist Bae Jin Young’s future and the status of their legal action against malicious comments.

Hello, this is C9 Entertainment. We are providing an official update on Bae Jin Young, who has completed his activities with Wanna One and returned to our agency.
1 ) We have selected a law firm to represent us in our legal action against the defamation of character and sexual harassment that has been targeted at our artist, Bae Jin Young. We have monitored the situation, collected evidence, and begun the first round of lodging an official complaint. We intend to continue to collect information until January 18 before moving on to the second round. We plan to make our legal response strong and fast. 2 ) We are aware that many fans are concerned about Bae Jin Young’s future promotions. We will first do our best to ensure that our artist receives enough of a break and a comfortable balance in his work life before making promotion plans. We will support him to the best of our ability so that he can greet fans with an even better image than before. We will gradually reveal his official plans for promotion and related details.

Wanna One’s contract expired on December 31, 2018, though the members will continue to appear together at the awards ceremonies they have been scheduled to attend, and will perform together at their final concert later this month.
