January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from December 10 to January 11.
BTS topped the rankings for the eighth consecutive month, scoring a brand reputation index of 27,522,776 for January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Golden Disc,” “MAMA,” and “Billboard,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “effort,” and “cool.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 85.85 percent reactions.
Wanna One and EXO also maintained their respective spots at second place and third place this month. Wanna One scored a brand reputation index of 14,151,904 for January, while EXO’s total index came out to 9,255,930 for the month.
