Song Ji Hyo Jokingly Offers To Date Kim Jong Kook On "Running Man"

Song Ji Hyo caught Kim Jong Kook off guard on the latest episode of “Running Man”!

During the January 13 broadcast of the SBS variety show, the cast held a mock press conference to question Lee Kwang Soo about his recently confirmed relationship with Lee Sun Bin, whom he met while filming “Running Man.” After they had interrogated Lee Kwang Soo to their hearts’ content, the cast members took turns sitting in the hot seat and answering questions.

When it was Kim Jong Kook’s turn, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned that the “Running Man” bachelor was still looking for love. “I wouldn’t [bring this up] if he weren’t interested in marriage,” said Yoo Jae Suk, “but he wants to get married.” Kim Jong Kook agreed, “It’s driving me crazy,” and Lee Kwang Soo chimed in, “He’s become even more interested [in marriage] lately.”

Yoo Jae Suk went on, “That’s why I’m asking this question. How do you feel? Are you thinking of getting married this year?”

Kim Jong Kook replied, “This year? I doubt I’d be able to get all the way to marriage this year, but I definitely want to date [someone] this year.” The other members voiced their approval, agreeing, “Start with dating first,” and Kim Jong Kook went on, “I’d really like to date someone for sure this year, so that things can come to fruition next year.”

Ji Suk Jin requested more specifics about his plans to meet someone, asking, “So are you going to go on blind dates, or…?” Kim Jong Kook replied, “I find blind dates somewhat uncomfortable. I’m the type who prefers to meet people naturally.”

Suddenly, Song Ji Hyo poked her head out and playfully suggested, “Oppa, there’s also someone here,” waving her hand to indicate that she was available.

The entire cast reacted with shock as Kim Jong Kook burst into laughter, with HaHa teasingly asking if he should switch seats so that Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook could sit together.

Yang Se Chan then pointed out, “This is a natural meeting! It’s natural!” Kim Jong Kook laughed, “This isn’t natural,” but Song Ji Hyo jokingly insisted, “It is natural! It’s natural.”

Lee Kwang Soo agreed, “It actually is natural. Things couldn’t be more natural than this.”
