Ha Ji Won In Talks For Her First Film In 3 Years + Sung Dong Il Also In Talks

Ha Ji Won might be returning to the silver screen for the first time in three years!

On January 15, Haewadal Entertainment stated, “Ha Ji Won received an offer to appear in upcoming film ‘Collateral’ (literal translation) and is currently reviewing the offer.”

A representative of JK Film, the production company in charge of the upcoming film, also commented, “We are discussing a possibility of Ha Ji Won appearing in the film. We offered her the female lead role, Seung Yi, and we are reviewing the offer with positive outlook.”

“Collateral” will tell the story of a man who is willing to do anything for money as he befriends a child who has been captured as a hostage. Sung Dong Il is in talks to take on the male lead role.

If Ha Ji Won accepts the offer, this will be her first film in three years. She halted her promotional activities after acting in “Manhunt” last year, due to her younger brother passing away. The actress resumed activities with tvN’s “Galileo: Awakened Universe.”
