JYJ’s Kim Junsu got a gift from South Korean President Moon Jae In and First Lady Kim Jung Sook!
On January 23, the singer posted photos of a large gift box from the president and his wife.
Kim Junsu wrote, “President Moon Jae In and First Lady Kim Jung Sook sent me a New Year’s gift that has my name Kim Junsu on it. I’m so thankful for the gift, but it’s such a big honor in itself that you remember me. Solsongju from Hamyang County… I’m not good at drinking, but I’ll have to drink a glass. I choose you.”
This gift box includes Korean traditional delicacies including honey cakes, handmade honey cookies, a bottle of traditional Korean liquor called solsongju, traditional Korean fermented cookies called gosibowls, and deep-fried sweet rice cakes.
The president sent out these Lunar New Year gift boxes to about 10,000 people in various fields who have made contributions to the country. Kim Junsu is currently appearing in the musical “Elisabeth” as Der Tod.
