TVXQ's Yunho Spills The Beans On Dating Secretly And Reads From His Romance Novel

TVXQ’s Yunho spoke about dating and romance.

On the February 7 broadcast of SBS’s “We Will Channel You,” Yunho and Kang Ho Dong faced off against one another.

When Kang Ho Dong asked, “You’ve never had a dating scandal before. Are you lacking passion when it comes to dating?” Yunho answered, “No, I’ve worked hard to meet people and have dated before.” About secretly dating, Yunho explained, “It’s easy for the woman who dates me to get exposed. At times, a great man needs to know how to hide the woman he loves.”

Kang Ho Dong then startled the singer by holding up “Hanbi’s Story” (literal title), which is a romance novel written by Yunho. He explained that he posted parts of the story online every week when he was in high school. After Kang Ho Dong read the introduction, Yunho read out loud some lines from the book:

Today was a normal day, like any other. The weather was gloomy, and my mood was gloomy, too, so after mindlessly getting dressed, I started walking wherever my body and heart decided to take me. Have I come too far? The thought was brief.

As if the skies felt my mood, rain started to fall. I was running toward the bridge to avoid the rain, when I saw a girl in the distance walking toward me with an umbrella. I ran to the girl and asked, “Sorry, but can I share your umbrella?” As soon as the words left my lips, I couldn’t speak for several seconds. I was something I had only ever heard of. Love at first sight. That love slowly started to grow in my heart.

After reading from the book, Yunho said, “Hanbi was a fictitious character that was about 70 percent based on personal experience,” said the TVXQ member.
