VICTON's Agency Responds To Reports Of Members Competing In 4th Season Of "Produce 101"

VICTON’s agency has shared an official statement regarding members participating in the next season of “Produce 101.”

Earlier in the day, Plan A Entertainment commented that the reports are not true, but additional reports said that the agency has participated in production meetings. Rumors about Seungsik, Sejun, and Byungchan joining the program also spread throughout online communities.

Plan A Entertainment then released a new statement on the afternoon of February 27, revealing, “VICTON’s participation in ‘Produce_X101’ is being discussed, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”

VICTON may be appearing on “Produce_X101”!

On February 27, media outlet Newsen reported that members of VICTON will appear on the fourth season of Mnet’s “Produce 101” series.

VICTON debuted in 2016 as a seven-member group (Seungsik, Byungchan, Chan, Sejun, Subin, Hanse, and Seungwoo). According to the report, only some of the members have been confirmed to audition for the show.

Although there have been numerous audition programs such as “Produce 101 Season 2,” KBS 2TV’s “The Unit,” JTBC’s “MIXNINE,” and more, VICTON did not participate in them.

Previously, Mnet confirmed that the “Produce_X101” contestants will move into the dorms in early March. The premiere is scheduled for the first half of this year.
