Shin Min Ah Revealed To Be Providing Continuous Financial Support For Burn Patients

It was belatedly revealed that Shin Min Ah has been helping patients with burn injuries through generous donations!

From 2009, Shin Min Ah has been making donations for causes she strongly believes in. The actress spent over 2 billion won (approximately $1,787,869) to provide education and health care support for disadvantaged children, heating costs for elderly people living alone, support for women and children among North Korean refugees, and more.

According to a source, Shin Min Ah has always considered different ways to help people in need. In 2015, Shin Min Ah decided to focus on making donations to help patients with burn injuries, as she was notified that the amount of help they need is often neglected.

For the past five years, the actress donated 100 million won (approximately $89,393) to the Hallym Burn Foundation every year. As a result, she was able to help a total of 50 women and children who suffered burn injuries, as well as eight patients with burn injuries from other countries such as Mongolia and Cambodia to receive treatment in Korea.

In response, Shin Min Ah’s agency confirmed the deed by saying, “It is true that Shin Min Ah has been making donations in support of patients with burn injuries.” They continued, “We hope that many people will pay attention to these patients who will continue to need help and join [Shin Min Ah] in helping them.”
