BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” has just made YouTube history as the first K-pop group music video ever to surpass 700 million views!

On March 9 at approximately 9:02 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” hit the 700 million mark on YouTube, a feat that has never before been accomplished by any other Korean group music video.

BLACKPINK originally released “DDU-DU DDU-DU” as the title track of their first mini album “Square Up” on June 15, 2018, meaning that it took the song only 266 days (8 months and 21 days) to reach the milestone.

The only other Korean artist ever to achieve the feat is PSY, who currently holds the record for the most-watched K-pop music video of all time with “Gangnam Style.”

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their historic achievement!
