Ryu Jun Yeol Talks About Learning Soccer From Son Heung Min And Traveling With Lee Je Hoon

On March 8, Ryu Jun Yeol mentioned soccer player Son Heung Min and fellow actor Lee Je Hoon on KBS’s “Entertainment Weekly.”

Ryu Jun Yeol previously talked about his friendship with Son Heung Min, and he discussed their close friendship once again. Despite his busy schedule, Ryu Jun Yeol recently attended Son Heung Min’s game in London, and Son Heung Min sent him a finger heart from the field. Ryu Jun Yeol affectionately hollered “I love you,” and Son Heung Min loudly shouted back, “I love you!”

When the interviewer asked if the actor learned soccer from Son Heung Min before, he playfully replied, “I get a lot of criticism. He talks as if I should quit. He said I have no chance.”

Ryu Jun Yeol also talked about his travel mate Lee Je Hoon on “Traveler.” The JTBC travel variety show stars both actors on a journey to find their “true selves.” Without the interference of production staff, they will get the freedom to try new things as non-celebrities and get the full backpacking experience.

Ryu Jun Yeol shared, “The production team asked me if I there was anyone I could go with, so I suddenly thought of Je Hoon, although we didn’t keep in touch.” The interviewer joked, “So you cast him in there,” and Ryu Jun Yeol quickly disagreed with flustered laughter. The actor said, “Fortunately, they said he was on the list.”

Ryu Jun Yeol’s upcoming movie “Money,” which also stars Yoo Ji Tae, Jo Woo Jin, and Won Jin Ah, will premiere in South Korea on March 20.
