ASTRO's Moonbin Confirms Casting In Ong Seong Wu's Upcoming Drama

ASTRO’s Moonbin will be appearing in a drama with Ong Seong Wu!

The drama is tentatively titled “18 Moments” and will be broadcast by JTBC. It stars Ong Seong Wu in the lead role of Choi Jun Woo, Kim Hyang Gi in the role of Yoo Soo Bin, and Shin Seung Ho in the role of Ma Hwi Young.

“18 Moments” is described as a coming-of-age drama about 18-year-olds and will give a realistic look at the little moments and ordinary feelings in their lives.

Moonbin has been cast in the role of Jung Oh Je, a popular student at school who is good-looking and good at sports. He becomes transfer student Choi Jun Woo’s only friend and takes him under his wing, but his caring personality hides a dark secret. He was previously said to be in talks for the role.

Moonbin appeared in “Boys Over Flowers” as the younger version of one of the characters and has also acted in web dramas such as “To Be Continued” and “Idol Fever.”

Through his agency, Moonbin said, “I am excited and nervous to be tackling my first official drama after becoming an adult. I will work hard to prepare for the role of Jung Oh Je and hope to successfully show his sincerity to the audience.”

Filming for “18 Moments” begins next month.
