Choi Jong Hoon Completes Police Questioning After 21 Hours + Responds To Questions From Press

Choi Jong Hoon has completed his first round of questioning at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

On March 17 at 6:45 a.m. KST, approximately 21 hours after he first arrived, Choi Jong Hoon left the police station to return home. The former FTISLAND member is currently under investigation by the police for allegedly spreading illegally taken photos and videos, after it was reported earlier this week that he had shared a photo of a woman sleeping in a group chatroom.

On his way out of the police station, Choi Jong Hoon commented, “I underwent the questioning faithfully and earnestly.”

When asked if he admitted to the charges that he had taken illegal photos and videos, he replied, “No. I’m sorry.”

Choi Jong Hoon has also fallen under suspicion of requesting that the police cover up news of his drunk driving incident, which only recently became public knowledge, back in 2016. When asked about the allegations, Choi Jong Hoon chose not to comment, saying simply, “I stated everything to the police.”

The press also asked him about his relationship to former senior superintendent officer Yoon, who was reportedly mentioned multiple times in the group chatroom that included him and Seungri, amongst others. The police previously confirmed on March 16 that Yoon has admitted to being acquaintances with Yoo In Suk, the former CEO of Yuri Holdings, who was also a member of the chatroom in question.

Choi Jong Hoon replied, “I have no connection [to the former officer].”

When asked if he had resorted to bribery in order to cover up his drunk driving incident, Choi Jong Hoon responded simply, “No.” When asked if he had made other requests to the police or if he had shared illegal footage of sexual activity in other group chatrooms, he similarly remarked, “No, I did not.”

Although the press continued to ask him questions as he arrived at his car, Choi Jong Hoon chose not to respond to any further questions before returning home.
