Kang Han Na Returns To Fantagio After Settling Contract Issues

Actress Kang Han Na has returned to Fantagio after nearly a year of legal disputes over her exclusive contract.

On March 28, Fantagio released a statement saying, “Kang Han Na and Fantagio have settled our misunderstandings through many meetings and many discussions and we have come to an agreement.”

Kang Han Na released a statement that said, “I’m sorry for causing concern to my fans and to Fantagio. Through our many recent discussions, we have resolved the misunderstandings that arose due to lack of communication. I’m grateful for Fantagio’s understanding and courtesy and will repay them through working hard on my projects.”

Fantagio accepted the apology and said, “Instead of casting blame for the past, we will turn over a fresh leaf and do our best to support Kang Han Na’s future work. We will not hold back on providing both physical and mental support in order to make her promotions flourish.”

Kang Han Na first submitted a notice of termination with the agency in 2018 after JC Group became Fantagio’s largest shareholder and co-CEO Na Byung Jun was fired. Kang Han Na then signed on with STARDIUM, a new agency run by Na Byung Jun, but Fantagio announced they would be taking legal action against her.

In February 2019, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board ruled that the exclusive contract between Kang Han Na and Fantagio was still valid.
