NU'EST Confirms Plans To Release New Album In April

On April 13, a News1 source reported that NU’EST had decided on a comeback date for their first album as a five-member group in almost three years.

The News1 source reported that the new album would be released on April 29. Later the same day, a source from Pledis Entertainment told DongA.com, “NU’EST is preparing an album right now with the goal to release it in April. We will announce the official comeback date when the details have been settled.”

NU’EST’s last album as a five-member group was in August 2016 with “Canvas.” After four of the members appeared on “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017, Minhyun went on to promote with Wanna One and the other members of NU’EST formed the subunit NU’EST W.

In March 2019, NU’EST released a digital track with all five members to commemorate their debut anniversary and Minhyun released a solo track titled “Universe,” which is said to be a pre-release track from the group’s upcoming album.

NU’EST is currently in the middle of their solo concert, scheduled from April 12 to April 14.
