Lee Sung Kyung Talks About Acting With Ra Mi Ran In New Film “Girl Cops”

Lee Sung Kyung and Ra Mi Ran talked about their new movie “Girl Cops” on the April 13 episode of KBS’s “I Love Movies.”

During the interview, Lee Sung Kyung shared, “I’m just happy to be in the same shot as Ra Mi Ran.”

The host Jo Chung Hyun told Lee Sung Kyung that she looks especially tall in the poster then apologized to Ra Mi Ran for comparing her height with Lee Sung Kyung’s. Ra Mi Ran laughed and responded, “I did my best because I couldn’t meet her height.”

Then Lee Sung Kyung said, “The topic [of the movie] is a heavy one, but it was pleasantly portrayed by inserting comedic scenes in between. It was also nice that there was a message in there about how we could be aware of and alert about social problems.”

“Girl Cops” is about two female detectives who work together to solve a digital sex crime that the rest of the police force has given up on. Ra Mi Ran plays a former legendary detective named Park Mi Young, while Lee Sung Kyung portrays a hotheaded detective named Ji Hye.

The movie will premieres in theaters on May 9. You can check out the trailer here.
