Sung Joon Updates Fans With A Glimpse Into His Military Service After Quietly Enlisting
Actor Sung Joon recently posted a quick update via his Instagram while serving in the military.
On April 13, Sung Joon posted an image of himself in a military uniform along with the following caption:
Hello, this is Sung Joon. I am sorry to have enlisted in the army without saying goodbye because of my shy personality. I will return through a great project after my discharge [from the miliary]. Choong-sung!
“Choong-sung” is a military unit motto that is used to salute each other in the army. The literal meaning in Korean is loyalty.
The actor quietly enlisted on December 18, 2018 in the 2nd Infantry Division of the Nodosin Training Squadron. He will be discharged in July 2020.
