BTS Gives Heartfelt Advice To Junior Artists

On April 17, BTS held a press conference for the release of their new album “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

During the press conference, a few BTS members took time to give advice to junior artists. Jungkook said, “I honestly did not practice a lot when I was a trainee. I sometimes think, ‘Why did I [not practice] back then? I should have [practiced] more.’ If I’m being honest, I did not realize how important practicing is before I debuted. I hope that trainees these days know that and use their time wisely. Then, I believe they can achieve greater success.”

V added, “I want to tell them to not be discouraged by sudden failures or wounds they might get while practicing and putting in their effort. That’s a step that will help them to climb up the stairs. It will eventually turn into a memory and makes them go to higher places.”

Suga stated, “I do not think such thing as a second-generation BTS or second-generation anything exists. We also had heroes of our own when we were young, but we are BTS now. I hope completely different artists will be born instead of a second-generation BTS.”

BTS will start their domestic promotions for “Boy With Luv” through “M Countdown” on April 17. They are also set to perform with Halsey at the Billboard Music Awards on May 1 and will begin their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour on May 4.
