Ha Sung Woon Checks In With Ong Seong Wu, Bae Jin Young, And JBJ95 As He Hosts Radio Show

Ha Sung Woon was a special DJ on “Idol Radio” on April 18!

During the show, Ha Sung Woon talked to Ong Seong Wu and Bae Jin Young (fellow members of the project group Wanna One) and JBJ95 made a surprise guest appearance.

Ha Sung Woon’s close friendship with Ong Seong Wu and Bae Jin Young was clear as he chatted on the phone with them. Ong Seong Wu  shared, “I did my first filming for my drama yesterday. I was really nervous, but the weather was so great that later on I relaxed and I think the filming went well.”

After he and Ha Sung Woon joked with each other back and forth, Ong Seong Wu said to listeners, “I’ve started filming my drama and I’ll see everyone a lot, so please wait. I love all of you.”

When Bae Jin Young talked to Ha Sung Woon, he shared how his preparations are going for his upcoming solo single “It’s Hard to Accept the End” (literal translation). Bae Jin Young said, “It’s a sad ballad song that I wrote the lyrics for myself. It includes feelings of longing for someone you’ve separated from as well as regrets.” He also shared a short spoiler of the song for listeners.

About the scene of him crying in his teaser video for his new song, Bae Jin Young said, “People may think that I was acting, but I was really crying.”

Ong Seong Wu and Bae Jin Young also promised to appear on “Idol Radio” on the future.

JBJ95’s Kenta and Sanggyun, who both also competed on “Produce 101 Season 2,” appeared on the show to promote their latest comeback with “Awake.” They shared some stories about Ha Sung Woon from their time on the survival show.

Sanggyun said, “Sung Woon was always taking care of his team members and taking the lead.” Kenta added, “It wasn’t shown in the episode, but when I was preparing for the ‘Spring Day’ mission, I was so grateful because Sung Woon helped us a lot.”

Ha Sung Woon ended the show by saying, “I had a lot of fun and no regrets while being a DJ for the first time.” He added, “I’m working on an album, so I hope you’ll wait just a bit more.”

The regular DJ of “Idol Radio” is BTOB’s Ilhoon and it is broadcast daily on MBC Standard FM at 1 a.m. KST, with a watchable version on Naver’s V Live before that at 9 p.m. KST.
