Park Yoochun's Name Removed From Fan-Donated Cherry Blossom Path Following Arrest

Park Yoochun’s name has been removed from a cherry blossom path in Incheon following his arrest on drug charges.

On April 28, the Incheon Gyeyang District Volunteer Organization announced that all murals, signs, and nameplates associated with the singer had been removed from the 280 meter-long cherry blossom path.

Lim Jung Soo, the head of the organization, stated that the mural of Park Yoochun and the words “Park Yoochun, we miss you” had been painted over, and all 34 nameplates containing interviews, lines from his drama productions, and content from social media had been removed.

Park Yoochun’s fan club Blessing Yoochun had donated 5.5 million won (approximately $4,746) to create the cherry blossom path. The organization had previously stated that they would not be taking any action unless a guilty verdict is made.

However, following Park Yoochun’s arrest on April 26, the organization spoke with the fan club and a decision was made by both parties to remove Park Yoochun’s name from the area. He is currently under suspicion of purchasing Philopon with his former girlfriend Hwang Ha Na.
