Watch: Girl’s Day’s Minah Is Overwhelmed By Yeo Jin Goo’s Love In “Absolute Boyfriend” Preview

SBS’s “Absolute Boyfriend” has released an exciting preview ahead of its first episode!

The drama is based on a popular Japanese manga series of the same name and tells the story of Uhm Da Da (played by Girl’s Day’s Minah) who mistakenly recieves a humanoid robot named Zero-Nine (played by Yeo Jin Goo) programmed to be an ideal boyfriend.

The clip gives a glimpse into Da Da and and Zero-Nine’s first encounter. An accidental kiss registers Da Da as Zero-Nine’s girlfriend, and hilarity ensues as he goes over the top to display his love for her. However, Da Da is unreceptive at first, saying, “Don’t expect anything from me. I don’t have the confidence to love anyone, and I don’t want to get hurt because of love ever again. How could I fall for that thing that isn’t even human?”

In the teaser, we are also introduced to another character, arrogant top star Ma Wang Joon (played by Hong Jong Hyun), who is vying for Da Da’s love. He was previously romantically involved with Da Da and tells Zero-Nine, “Da Da doesn’t love you. She just needs someone.”

The drama appears to be a fun and heart-fluttering tale that asks the question, “What is love?”
