2NE1 Shares More Emotional Photos And Messages For 10th Anniversary
2NE1 showered fans with more photos and messages for their 10th anniversary!
On May 17, all four members went live on their Instagram accounts to celebrate the occasion. Afterwards, they uploaded more posts to share their thoughts.
Sandara Park posted the photo below with a caption in English that reads, “Back in 2009, the four of us in 2NE1 were excited on what the world had to offer. We didn’t expect that we would be given the best fans in the world. We didn’t expect that we would have fans in many parts of the world. To countries who don’t speak and understand our language. We are very grateful that Blackjacks embraced us. And because Blackjacks were everywhere, we were able to go to different countries. To places we only see on maps.”
She continued, “10 years later, you are still here for us. Through joys and tears. Even when we had drastic hairstyles and outrageous stage costumes, you still loved and supported us. I can’t believe how much you mean to us — 4 Korean girls who just wanted to perform onstage. We can’t thank you enough for the love. How we all wish we can thank each one of you and give you a hug. But I hope this message would be enough for now to show you how much Blackjacks mean to us. Thank you. I love you.”
She also included photos of gifts that fans sent to her earlier that day, saying in her caption, “The flowers and rice cakes Blackjacks sent to the set of ‘Video Star’ for our 10th anniversary came! My mood got better! Thank you so much! You’re the best!”
Leader CL posted several throwback photos, saying in the caption of one post, “2NE1, four girls with a dream.”
She also shared some emotional shots from the members’ get-together, commenting, “Let’s always live like excited kids.”
Park Bom posted a cute selfie of the members, captioning it, “Aliens 2NE1.”
Minzy added to this posting frenzy, first with a shot of her and Sandara Park. She said in her caption, “Fake maknae (youngest member) and real maknae Ssan and Kkong.” She added, “[Sandara] doesn’t age.”
She further uploaded a picture of the members together along with lyrics from their 2012 song “Missing You” that say, “Even after a long time passes, let’s remember that we had each other back then.”
Minzy also included a photo of their cake from the party in her Instagram story.
