Kim Na Young To Make Her First Variety Show Appearance Following Divorce

Kim Na Young is returning to making variety show appearances after her hiatus!

On May 20, a source from Olive revealed, “Recently, Kim Na Young finished filming for ‘Shopping Basket Savior — Jang Bo Go’ (literal title).” She appeared as a guest in the broadcast, which is expected to air sometime in June.

In November 2018, Kim Na Young’s husband was arrested for establishing a futures and options exchange business without the permission from the Financial Supervisory Commission and pocketing unfair profits. At the time, Kim Na Young apologized, canceled her scheduled events, and halted her YouTube and social media accounts. In January, she announced her divorce from her husband. Ever since, she has been communicating with her fans through YouTube as a single mom who’s raising two children. This will be her first official broadcast schedule since her hiatus.

On May 18, Kim Na Young posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption, “I filmed for a broadcast for the first time in a long while. I’m excited. It’s such a great joy to be working. I’m unable to erase my makeup because it’s so pretty. I don’t even have a place to go after work, so why is my makeup done so well, this is a real struggle.”

“Jang Bo Go” is a variety show starring Noh Hong Chul, HaHa, Boom, Han Hye Yeon, and Lovelyz’s Mijoo that helps out people who have shopping-related struggles. The first broadcast will air on May 23.
