Let’s take a look at some of the many male celebrities who are originally from this beautiful city of Busan.
BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin
Jungkook and Jimin both spent their respective childhoods in Busan. Because of that, Jungkook previously mentioned that he wants to perform at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium someday.
Fans also love the dialect Jimin uses on occasion. Recently, Jimin even donated 100 million won (approximately $84,332) for students living in Busan from low-income families.
NU’EST’s Minhyun and Ren
Minhyun’s hometown is known to be in the Sooyoung district in Busan. In addition, NU’EST member Ren is also from Busan. The two are the only members in NU’EST who come from the same hometown.
Kang Ha Neul, who was discharged from the military on May 23, has previously mentioned at a press conference held in Busan that he was happy to be there because it’s his hometown.
ZE:A’s Im Si Wan and Kim Dong Jun
Im Si Wan was born and raised in Busan. He graduated from Pusan National University, majoring in mechanical engineering. Kim Dong Jun comes from the Dongnae district in Busan.
