WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon Discharged From Hospital After Being Treated For Herniated Disc

WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has been discharged from the hospital.

On June 2, Kang Seung Yoon was taken to the emergency room after feeling symptoms of a herniated disc in his neck. The other WINNER members had talked about him earlier in the day on June 5 and reassured fans that he was doing much better.

YG Entertainment has now released an official statement regarding Kang Seung Yoon’s health, which reads as follows:

Hello, this is YG Entertainment.

We write this statement to notify you that WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has been discharged from the hospital on the morning of June 5 per his doctor’s recommendation.

On Sunday, Kang Seung Yoon spoke of pain in his neck while waiting for the group’s rehearsal for SBS’s “Inkigayo,” and he was taken to the emergency room. Since then, he was hospitalized and has been focusing on receiving treatment and recovery.

Through his treatment, Kang Seung Yoon was able to recover quicker than expected and is currently resting after being discharged from the hospital. Kang Seung Yoon plans to carry out scheduled activities, but only to the point that it does not cause strain on his body.

We apologize for causing fans concern, and we promise to do our best to always prioritize our artists’s health in the future.
