Chu Ja Hyun And Yu Xiao Guang Make Meaningful Donation To Help Children In Need

Chu Ja Hyun and Yu Xiao Guang have donated to Social Welfare Society, Inc!

On June 12, Social Welfare Society revealed that the lovely couple donated all the monetary gifts from their wedding to their organization on June 11.

In January 2018, Chu Ja Hyun was appointed as the ambassador for Social Welfare Society, which provides welfare services to the marginalized population including children in need. She sponsored and volunteered to help children who were awaiting new homes after being separated from their birth parents. As part of her continuing support, she made the decision to donate the monetary gifts from her recent wedding ceremony.

Chu Ja Hyun, who gave birth to her son last year, said, “All lives should be blessed, and after giving birth and raising my child, my desire to share love for children who were separated from their parents at birth grew.” She added, “I hope that the children grow up healthy and meet good moms and dads as soon as possible,” explaining her reason for donating.

Although Chu Ja Hyun and Yu Xiao Guang legally got married in January 2017, they held their wedding ceremony on May 29 this year at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. The couple planned the wedding in accordance with their son Ba Da’s first birthday and to thank the people who have helped them along the way.

Social Welfare Society’s president Yoon Jeom Sik said, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude for Chu Ja Hyun’s strong conviction and warm love as an ambassador for the support for marginalized children, and we’ll use [the money] preciously to help the children grow up healthily.”

Helping children in need who were separated from their parents, Social Welfare Society utilizes the donations they receive to provide a full range of support including temporary care services, child nurturing services, medical services, education services, scholarship support, and more.
