Watch Live: "Produce X 101" Trainees Battle To Be Crowned The Best In Their Positions In Episode 7

“Produce X 101” continues its position evaluation in episode 7!

On June 14, the Mnet survival show will showcase more of the performances in the position evaluation battle. Last week, fans saw the Top 60 trainees teaming up to stage cover performances that showcase their talents.

In addition to the categories of vocal, dance, and rap positions, this season added two “X” songs that challenged the trainees to take on two positions at a time: dance and vocal, or dance and rap. Winners for the “X” songs receive double the benefit points compared to the other songs if they succeed.

The result of the hard work of five of the teams was show in the last episode, with performances by teams covering Hwasa‘s “Twit,” Charlie Puth’s “Attention,” Zico’s “Yes or No,” Bruno Mars’s “Finesse,” and Paul Kim’s “Me After You.”

This week will feature the stories of teams covering BOL4’s “To My Youth” (Vocal), Wanna One’s “Day by Day” (Vocal), HAON and VINXEN’s “Barcode” (Rap), Imagine Dragons’s “Believer” (Dance), Jason Derulo’s “Swalla” (Dance), and Ja Mezz, Andup, and WINNER member Song Mino‘s “Turtle Ship” featuring Paloalto (Rap and Dance).

The episode will also show the contestants being introduced to the concept songs for their next mission. The teams for this mission are determined by fans, as they were previously tasked with voting for which songs they think are the best fit for their favorite trainees.
