SF9's Rowoon Shares Feelings About Taking On 1st Lead Drama Role
SF9’s Rowoon talked about taking on his first lead role in a drama!
On June 17, SF9 made a comeback with their seventh mini album “RPM” and held a showcase in Seoul. Member Rowoon was asked at the showcase about being cast in the upcoming MBC drama “Extraordinary You.”
“I met with the director five times including for auditions and meetings,” said Rowoon.
“We’re filming now, but I was really nervous about taking on my first lead role because I feel like I need to lead it,” he said. “The director and my co-stars trust in me and it’s great to be working with them, so I’m working hard and having fun while filming. Please look forward to it.”
Rowoon has previously acted in dramas including “School 2017,” “About Time,” and “Where Stars Land.”
“Extraordinary You” is based on a fantasy school romance webtoon which tells the story of students who realize that they are actually characters in a manhwa (Korean comic) and try to go against its plot. It also stars Kim Hye Yoon, APRIL’s Naeun, and more.
