Update: Go Jun Hee’s Final Negotiations To Sign With C-JeS Entertainment Fall Through
Updated July 8 KST:
Contrary to the previous report on Go Jun Hee signing on with C-JeS Entertainment, it was revealed that the final negotiations did not work out.
On July 8, C-JeS Entertainment shared, “We were in discussion about an exclusive contract with Go Jun Hee, but [negotiations] fell through. We will not be signing a contract with her.”
There have been a few conflicting reports about Go Jun Hee’s new agency.
On June 25, after reports that Go Jun Hee would be joining 8D Creative (WIP), the agency stated to StarToday, “We did meet recently with Go Jun Hee but negotiations fell through. We wanted an exclusive contract with her, but in the end she rejected the offer.”
Also on June 25, News1 reported that Go Jun Hee was in negotiations for an exclusive contract with C-JeS Entertainment. A source from C-JeS later confirmed, “We recently had a meeting with Go Jun Hee about her contract. We are currently in the middle of final negotiations.”
Go Jun Hee was previously signed under YG Entertainment. She is currently in the middle of a legal battle against malicious commenters who spread rumors that she was the actress named in Seungri’s group chat when the chatroom participants were discussing girls to invite to entertain a foreign investor visiting Korea. Go Jun Hee’s representatives have strongly denied all the rumors.
