Mnet To Launch New Girl Group Competition With Lee Da Hee In Talks To MC
Mnet has another competition program in the works!
On July 3, industry representatives reported that Mnet is creating a new variety show called “Queendom.” According to the reports, the show will feature six top girl groups competing with simultaneous comebacks.
In response to the reports, a source from Mnet confirmed, “Girl group comeback competition ‘Queendom’ is being prepared as a new program in the second half of the year.”
Jang Sung Kyu and actress Lee Da Hee are in talks to MC the show.
The reports stated that the show is scheduled to begin filming in late July and premiere in late August, to which Mnet responded, “[The schedule] will be revealed once confirmed.”
