Won Jin Ah, Ji Chang Wook, And More Attend First Script Reading For New Rom-Com

The cast and crew of upcoming drama “Melting Me Softly” gathered for the first script reading.

“Melting Me Softly” tells the story of a man and woman who participate in a project to be frozen for 24 hours but wake up 20 years later due to a mysterious scheme.

Director Shin Woo Chul and writer Baek Mi Kyung, as well as actors, Won Jin Ah, Ji Chang Wook, Yoon Se Ah, Im Won Hee, Kim Won Hae, Shim Hyung Tak, Jun Soo Kyung, Choi Bo Min, Yoon Seok Hwa, Jung Hae Kyun, and more were present at the script reading.

After introductions, the script reading started in a warm, mirthful atmosphere. Ji Chang Wook, who plays star variety show PD Ma Dong Chan, showed off his humorous acting and made everyone laugh at his wittiness. Won Jin Ah immersed in her role as the unpredictable Go Mi Ran, a part-time employee at a broadcasting station who receives an offer to participate in a “Frozen Human Project.”

Yoon Se Ah, who accepted the role of announcer Na Ha Young, expressed the emotions of her character in the most detailed way, making everyone look forward to her official acting on set.

The supporting characters who made everyone explode with laughter were Im Won Hee, Kim Won Hae, and Jun Soo Kyung. Their teamwork created a perfect performance that foreshadowed the birth of countless comical scenes. In addition, Shim Hyung Tak will play Go Mi Ran’s ex-boyfriend named Hwang Byung Shim, Yoon Seok Hwa will play Ma Dong Chan’s mother Kim Won Jo, and Jung Hae Kyun will play Kim Hong Seok, who went from being the director of a broadcast station to the president. All of them raised the quality of the drama by professionally portraying their respective characters.

“Melting Me Softly” is scheduled to air in the second half of 2019.
