Following reports of Shinhwa member Minwoo’s alleged sexual harassment case, tvN’s “4 Wheeled Restaurant” has stopped providing their VOD (video on demand) rerun service for episodes featuring the singer.

Early this month, Minwoo was booked on suspicions of sexually harassing two women at a gathering on the morning of June 29. On July 3, his agency Liveworks Company released an official statement saying that it had been a misunderstanding and that the victims would be withdrawing their complaints. It was later confirmed that the complaints were withdrawn.

However, the police explained that they would continue investigating the case because an indecent act by compulsion is indictable without a complaint. They recently found CCTV footage that confirm the suspicions of indecent act by compulsion.

As the case got bigger, the production team of “4 Wheeled Restaurant” came to the decision that they would take down the episodes featuring Minwoo. Now, their VOD streaming service only provides episodes 1 to 6, which were filmed before Minwoo joined the cast.

On July 23, a tvN representative told My Daily, “A few days ago, we stopped the VOD service for ‘4 Wheeled Restaurant’ episodes featuring Minwoo. As Minwoo was forwarded to the prosecution, we are cautiously observing the progression of the investigation. We plan to revisit this matter once the official investigation results come out.”

“4 Wheeled Restaurant” previously removed season three cast member Jung Joon Young from their broadcast and VOD service after it was reported on March 11 that he had shared illegal hidden camera footage of sexual activity in a group chat with other male celebrities.

Minwoo was also completely edited out of upcoming KBS2 variety show “Deok Hwa TV 2 – Deok Hwa’s Coffee House” (literal translation).
