IU, Yeo Jin Goo, And "Hotel Del Luna" Continue To Top Rankings For Most Buzzworthy Actors And Dramas

On July 23, Good Data Corporation posted their weekly ratings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors. The results are from the company’s analysis of currently airing and upcoming dramas for the third week of July.

tvN’s “Hotel Del Luna” took No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy dramas for the second consecutive week. The new show has continued to maintain its top ranking on the list due to a ending kiss scene by lead actors IU and Yeon Jin Goo and cameo appearances by stars such as Lee Joon Gi and Lee Si Eon. IU and Yeo Jin Goo also ranked No. 1 and No. 2 on the list of buzzworthy actors, respectively.

tvN’s “Search: WWW,” which has recorded its highest buzzworthy percentage since it began airing for the fifth week in a row, came in at No. 2 on the list of buzzworthy dramas. The drama gained attention for its episodes focusing on Lee Da Hee and Lee Jae Wook’s romance and Im Soo Jung and Jang Ki Yong’s breakup. Its actors took four spots on the list of buzzworthy actors: Lee Da Hee climbed two spots to fifth place, Im Soo Jung took sixth place once again, Lee Jae Wook rose two spots to No. 8 on the list, and Jang Ki Yong took the ninth place spot.

In third place was MBC’s latest drama “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” which premiered on July 17. With the new drama taking the spotlight, its lead actors Cha Eun Woo and Shin Se Kyung ranked fourth and fifth on the buzzworthy actors list, respectively.

Following behind in fourth place was SBS’s “Doctor John,” and lead actor Ji Sung was able to secure the No. 7 position on the list of buzzworthy actors. Lead actress Lee Se Young came in at 10th place. tvN’s “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” took the next spot at No. 5 on the buzzworthy dramas list.
