Kakao M In Talks To Acquire Park Seo Joon's Agency Awesome ENT
Kakao M may be acquiring another agency.
On July 29, it was reported that the Kakao M is acquiring Awesome ENT, which recently acquired Content Y and currently houses 17 actors including Park Seo Joon, Lee Hyun Woo, Hong Soo Hyun, and Yura.
An industry representative commented, “Awesome ENT is reviewing the offer recently given by Kakao M. There is positive discussion going back and forth, so it appears that there will be good results.”
In response to the reports, Kakao M commented, “The acquisition of Awesome ENT is being reviewed. Nothing has been decided yet.”
Through previous acquisitions, Kakao M is currently connected to several music and acting agencies including Starship Entertainment, Play M Entertainment, BH Entertainment, J,WIDE-Company, and Management SOOP.
